Due to lapse in funding, the Departmental Appeals Board has temporarily ceased processing
and reviewing certain appeals involving non-Medicare programs. Parties may continue to file new appeals
and must comply with all existing deadlines in pending cases.
Filings in affected cases will be processed once normal operations resume.
Cases involving the Medicare program, enforcement actions by the HHS Office of Inspector General or the FDA Center for Tobacco Products,
and/or determinations by the Office of Refugee Resettlement related to unaccompanied children are not impacted and will continue to be
processed as normal.
